I'm making a mix CD for my shrink... suggestions?

My psychiatrrist and I are coming up on our one year anniversary… not of dating, of course, but of therapy. Anyways, I thought it’d be funny to make him a mix CD of psychiartic/ doctor related songs. So far my song list is looking like this:
Crazy-- Patsy Cline
Insane in the Membrane – Cypress Hill
Doctor, Doctor-- Thompson Twins
Doing the Unstuck-- The Cure
etc, etc…

If anyone can think of and post some more songs I would appreciate it.

By the way, I’m a sometime lurker and first time poster. Hi to you all.

Dennis Leary did a song called “Voices in my Head”

Is she weird - Pixies
Mad mad Judy - Buzzcocks
Mad world - Tears for Fears
The Lunatics have taken over the asylum - Fun Boy Three
Straightjacket - The Adicts
Insane - Alice Donut

oh, and:

Psychotherapy - The Ramones
Bad brain - The Ramones
Can’t find my mind - The Cramps
Where is my mind? - Pixies
There ain’t no sanity clause - The Damned
Madness - Killing Joke

They’re coming to take me away. ( Ha Ha) By Napolean the 14th

This could be seen like such with a little creativiy.

Not a doctor song, but the first thing that popped into my head was Crazy Train by Ozzy.

Maybe Witch Doctor, by whoever the heck did it first.

Joni Mitchell wrote a song called “Crazy” that Bette Midler also covered. Worth tracking down either version.

Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
Sedated - The Ramones, but the cover by Shonen Knife is pretty cool, too.

It’s called “Twisted,” and they BOTH covered it: the original, a brilliant song and THE definitive version, is by Lambert Hendricks & Ross. Annie Ross wrote the lyrics, quite possibly the funniest ever:
*
My analyst told me that I was right out of my head
He said I need treatment but I’m not that easily led

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Now I heard little children were supposed to sleep tight
That’s why I drank a fifth of vodka one night
My parents got frantic didn’t know what to do
But I saw some crazy scenes before I came to
Now do you think I was crazy?
I may have been only three, but I was swinging!

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Oh they used to laugh at me when I’d refuse to ride
On all those double-decker busses
All because there was no driver on the top

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don’t…

My wife, who is a psychotherapist, has a copy of the album “Songs of Couch and Consultation,” but I don’t think you’ll be able to find a copy.

Mama Weer All Crazee Now - Quiet Riot.

“Acute Schizophrenia Paranoia Blues” and “Destroyer” by the Kinks
“Go Insane” by Lindsey Buckingham
“Madness Is All In The Mind” by Madness
“I Me We Us Them” by Chris Mars
“Let’s Go Crazy” by Prince

Dear Doctor - Rolling Stones (a great tune)
and
didn’t Queen do a song called ‘I’m going slightly mad’ or some such…

Thanks, lissener – the first version of the post was, “what’s that song, Bette Midler covered it, and Joni Mitchel did too, I think, or am I imagining that part …” – did a quick google and then sawed off the limb I had crawled out on.

Personality crisis - New York Dolls
Paranoid - Black Sabbath
Manic depression - Jimi Hendrix

“Mirror in the Bathroom” by the Beat. “slip gently into mental illness”

“She Drives Me Crazy” by the Fine Young Cannibals (would be cute if your shrink was a woman. But, apparently he’s not).

“Fluffhead” by Phish. “but his mind was so deranged”

“King of Nothing” by Phish. “those dreams which drove me mad”

“Crazy Love” by Van Morrison may not quite be the message you want to send your shrink.

Sanitarium - Metallica
Crazy Train - Black Sabbath

“Relating to a Psychopath” by Macy Gray
