Yes, that’s right. I’m moving on, and moving on up to the south side. I will be moving about a block and a half south of where I currently reside, and just confirmed with the moving company that we will do it next wednesday.
The good news for y’all is that I won’t be asking for help. I’m excited to move, though I am leaving a fantastic place, but for some reason, I never felt comfortable in it.

Huh. I have a pickup truck and I live in Highland Park in Saint Paul. Just accross the river from South Minneapolis.

Is the place an improvement? Yes and no. Where I live now is a really cool pad, though, for some reason, I’ve never made it home, and I’ve lived there a year and a half. I swear I’ve seen things moving, shadows, or sprites or something. I’ve had 4 other people also see things, without me ever mentioning it.
My current pad occupies the first floor and I have a spiral staircase down to the basement, which is my bedroom. The new place is up on the third floor, so it is, indeed moving on up. I’ve traded my wood stove for a gas fireplace. I also will no longer have to pay any utilities, which I haven’t had that kind of deal since college.
Perhaps once I’m settled in, I’ll throw a mini dopefest in my apt, and y’all be invited

If I had a wheelbarrow I might be able to get the guy from the soup kitchen, but to be honest, the staircase is pretty narrow, and rather than have me dent and nick half of my stuff, I’ll gladly help the economy and have it done in a quarter of the time.
