This isn’t really earth-shattering news, I know, but it does allow me to claim to have lived in every part of the Greater Orlando area- UCF, Downtown, Kissimmee, Hunters’ Creek, Oviedo, Winter Springs-which-I-deign-to-include-Altamonte-and-Casselberry, and South-of-Downtown-but-not-quite-by-the-airport.
I’m missing Metrowest, Windermere, and all that, but I did work an overnight job in Metrowest during which I slept a lot, so I’ll count that. And the only people who live in Windermere and Isleworth appear to be superstar athletes and the occasional loony actor/model/musician, so I’m not counting that bit either.
Also, I renewed my subscription today. I am quite, quite pissed off at myself for letting it lapse in the first place (before the last time I renewed), thus enabling the Powers That Be to strip me of the “Charter” bit under my username.
I think I should start a petition to get it reinstated, and not just because it was a hell of a lot cheaper to subscribe that way.
