David Attenborough is coming to Australia to present a performance, to qoute:

But I’m squeeing right now. David Attenborough is my boyhood idol. I’ve adored him ever since I first saw Life on Earth. The opening strains of the theme music to Life on Earth still send a shiver down my spine whenever I hear it. Sir David is without fail my #1 answer on any variation of the ‘who would you invite to dinner’ question.

I don’t know if Sir David has the same impact and is as well known in the US as he is here (and in Britain) [I believe they dubbed over him in the US for his recent Frozen Planet series? :eek:] . But if I hear his voice coming from the TV, I always stop to watch whatever it is he’s presenting, even if just for a while.

Yes, I know I won’t get to meet him one on one, but a boy can daydream can’t he?
