But I’ll be back. Going on a free trip to Walt Disney World this weekend, which just happens to be (and it really, really was accidental) Gay Day at Disney.
Sorry I’ve been kind of lax lately (as if anyone cares about and/or notices these things), but work has been unusually busy the past week or so, plus I got a lot of housework done this Memorial Day weekend (including getting my room finished painted, a mere two and a half months after we moved in), and a few, shall we say, unpleasantries online have kind of soured me to the SDMB and the 'net in general, but this, too, shall pass…
Catch up with y’all upon my return. Don’t miss me too much. Snootchie bootchies!
My family and I are going to Disney World in 11 days. My sis is concerned about the fires around there.
Hope you have a great time and tell us everything(well, enough to pacify us).ºoº
I always get Disney World & Disney Land confused…anyhow, I went to the one in Anaheim about 10 years ago & had a blast! The lines are ungodly long, though. Have tons of fun, Esprix.
Do those boring Southern Baptists still have their panties in a wad about Disney?
T’was a great time - Epcot, Disney/MGM Studios, Magic Kingdom, Gay Day, Ray Romano performed, good food, didn’t spend too much, and, of course, got in the requisite fight with the guy who took me. Well, no vacation’s perfect, eh? Glad to be home! I’ll post details later…
Did you notice a couple squirrelly looking guys video taping you, trying to look inconspicuous? They were probably Martin Mawyer and Phillip Vaught of the Christian Action Network.
Most of us boring Southern Baptists don’t really give a mouse’s rear end. And Disney World is in Florida. Come see us. You’ll have a good time! (I’m not sure, but I think the Park here is a lot bigger than the one in Anaheim, plus you can go to Universal Studios on a different day…)
**Esprix, **I hope you have a good time and a safe trip!
