Congratulations, Ruffian!
Ruffian, that’s a wonderful proposal! I wish the both of you the best of happiness. Your fiance was very creative in his proposal also and went to a lot of trouble.
I don’t suppose you are also getting married on 5 August, are you? Care for a joint ceremony?
Ruff, babe!
sniffling and remorseful
Congrats sweetheart, you don’t need to stress about it. I’m thrilled for you, not that I’ll stop flirting ;). Anyways, I’m glad everything is going as planned, and look forward to chatting with your new chipper self.
I’d like to wish you and your fiance (love that word don’t you ;)) a beautiful engagement, and a long happy life together. Keep us informed on all the mushy details.

Sonofabitch, all the wonderful girls are taken…
Damn, another one off my list
He went to a lot of effort (and quite right too) so that’s a good sign.
All the best!

Congratulations! What a romantic guy – which is always a plus. Many happy years of happiness to you both.

Everything Drain Bead said about the ring is true. You’ll also stop calling your fiance by name when talking about him to others. You’ll constantly be saying, “My fiance blah blah…”
It’s the same thing after you get married. We picked out the rings a few weeks before the wedding. I kept taking mine out and trying it on. And, I still have not tired of saying “My husband yadda, yadda…” I just love calling him that.
