I'm Too Old For This 5h1t - a Venting MMP

Woohoo! This time next week, we should have deck furniture! A glider, 2 swivel chairs, and 2 tables. Classy!

I put the last roll on the spindle this am, but I told the kid to go check the storage room downstairs.

He thinks there is none so there may be a trip to the store today.

I’m hungry, forgot to eat lunch and I noticed the rolls are growing little blue specks so hamburgers are out unless we go to the store for tp.
I’m getting the shakes so I guess I better go eat something.

**FCM ** do you really want to tackle rosebushes by yourself? On a hill?

Laundry’s done, last bit of shopping’s done, had an early dinner courtesy of Wendy’s while laundry was getting done, and my dishes are done.

I shall now fritter away the afternoon/evening.

Taxen are done and filed. I get a refund from The People’s Republik of MerryLande, which I will need as a down payment for what I owe the Infernal Revenoo (dis)Service. The balance I owe is in the high 3-digits, which is less than last year.

I have instructions to my son that when I die owing taxes, he is to make sure the last check to the IRS bounces.

You folks love to tempt the apocalypse!

Dang dindin was goooooooooooooooood!!! I’m proud of me.

$1500 to grind 20 stumps. I don’t think so. I’ve watched the pros do it - even the huge one took only about half an hour, and these guys want $60 per stump plus the cost of the grinder rental. Not bloody likely. I’m thinking I’ll plant shrubberies around the old cedar stumps, and we’ll just let the pine stumps rot on their own. Or we’ll rent the grinder and do it ourselves…

**sari **- the roses are going in a flat bed near the house. I’m pretty sure I can keep from falling down when I plant them. Of course, I make no promises…

We measured the side hill - 26’ X 100’ more or less. We need some kind of ground cover or covers. We were looking at pachysandra. I’d like to just fling some wildflower seeds and let them go crazy. I may do that anyway. While **FCD **is out biking tomorrow, I’m going back to Lowe’s to look at their ground covers. Being alone, I can take my time. So that’s the plan.

All in all, it’s been a good day.

Ya know MOOOOOOM wildflowers might not be a bad idea. They’re purty and as long as they understand they are not to be wild after ten p.m. they should work out.

Mine is mostly a wash, I owe the feds 2 dollars more than I get from the state..

I was pulling my hair out!!!
I couldn’t figure out why my business miles were more than my total mileage.

DUH!!! I bought the new truck in April, I needed to put the business miles before April on the old truck. :smack:

I must have added up the miles a dozen times thinking I was adding wrong.
Of course my taxes looked a lot better before I fixed it, but I think the IRS would notice if my business miles were more than my total mileage.

I thought blonde moments were bad
Now I’ve got them combined with senior moments

Ok, this is just a drive-by posting because I’m running a 5K in the morning and I need to get to bed. But I wanted to post this picture showing how we mumpers represented at the NEO Dopefest! Here we have kopek, freckafree, and of course myself.

Goodnight everyone!

Time for my ugly sleep. Headed to Sunday Services tomorrow, sunrise style.
My nightcrawlers are already quivering in fear…

Blurf

Rawr!

Blurf.
Here fishy fishy fishy…

I managed to cut my finger on a kitchen knife on Friday night. Bloomin’ thing still won’t pack in the bleeding.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 59 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of only <snerk> 69 <snerk> and rain/tstorms/apocolypse this afternoon and evenin’. We shall see.

RAWR backatcha Drew. What? A little early mornin’ flirtation never hurts.

Great pic of y’all StickyBuns! I trust a good time was had by all. Good luck on your 5k thingy today.

BBBobbio are the nightcrawlers quiverin’ in fear or laughin’ in derision? :stuck_out_tongue:

BooFae ick!

Now I need more caffiene and should feed rumbly tummy at some point. Also, purtification for deheathenization must occur at some point.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Good morning, Mumpers all!! **FCD **has left, the dishwasher is washing dishes, I have breakfasted on PB&J, featuring my homemade peach preserves, and I’m finishing my caffeination before venturing out to Lowes. I’ll probably get dressed first, tho - purple housecoat and slippers is more appropriate for WalMart than Lowes. Plus it’s in the 40s out there, and I’m a delicate flower of womanhood, y’know.

Today’s plan do NOT include me falling on my butt, but I do hope to plant my 4 roses after I transplant any hostas I find left in that bed. I’ll need to buy a shovel at Lowes, since the one I like to use gave up the ghost yesterday - the handle was pretty dried out and sad… I’ll try to find a new handle and maybe we can rescue the old blade. I’m going to look at sprinklers also, and other stuff. I foresee some serious time in the garden center. Better take the truck instead of my little car.

Great pic, Sticky! Did Mrs. **kopek **join the festivities? She’s a nice lady. Looks like you were all having fun, or were you just drunk??

I think that pretty well sums it up for this early hour. After I read the Sunday funnies, I’ll dress like an adult and head out to spend money. I’ve got some yummy leftovers for lunch and supper, so feeding myself today will be easy. Here’s hoping I get my productivity on!

Happy Sunday!!

Happy Sunday to you all, flirters and non flirters alike

My work shift is half over now… not that it means much. We don’t have much work to do at the moment

I’m getting a refund!
does happy dance
::stops and realizes that it won’t arrive for 6 to 8 weeks::
::slumps back down again::

Just submitted my taxes - as of tomorrow, we’ll be $3600 poorer. It seems every time I figure out what our withholdings should be, we have a major income change and all my calculations go down the tubes. I need to get into my pension account and have more state taxes withheld so we don’t get reamed again next year.

Why must this be so complicated? I suspect the CPA and tax consultant lobby… :stuck_out_tongue:

Time to get dressed and head out…
