The iMac will not import the last song on Billy Joel’s Nylon Curtain. Why not? What’s the problem?
How do I move songs from my iMac to my iPhone?
I have a CD on my iPhone where the iPhone will only play the first song unless I manually “bump” to the next song. But, why should I have to do that? Out of all my CDs, this is the one and only song that gets stuck.
Thanks for your thought, but the CD is in pristine condition.
What do you mean you’re bumoing this thread? As-in, I placed it in the wrong category? It was started under “In My Humble Opinion”. How can that be wrong?
“Bumping” means “updating the thread so it rises to the top of the unviewed stack again”. It’s a service Jinx is doing for you, to maybe get an answer.
To download songs to your iPhone, you use the Music app on your iMac. Plug the iPhone into a USB cable connected to the iMac, the phone ought to appear in the Music app (under Devices in the left column). You can just drag and drop songs to it, or make a playlist on the Mac and drop that on the phone.
As someone who has a huge iTunes library assembled from physical media, it could be worse than scratched/dirty (which the OP denies), it could be disk rot.
I have had this happen semi-frequently on older CD and DVD in my possession, including in some cases media that were older but still New In Box. Despite no visible damage, a number of sectors would be entirely unreadable, even using multiple ripping formats.
So if the disc has no visible damage, no smudges, and all other files an importable, that would be my default assumption.
