Mundane is too mundane. Great is too great. General doesn’t count because it’s just lots of questions.
In IMHO you get general discussions without people being either too GD arsey or too BBQ rude. Nice middle balance.

I like CS myself. And MPSIMS, it’s hard to beat the sheer random that comes out of MPSIMS.
I like MPSIMS so I use MPSIMS to post MPSIMS
I never go into Great Debates. I post mostly in MPSIMS and IMHO and General Questions. The Pit is too involved, and I don’t like to read 3 pages of rants. Great Debates is too serious. The Game room would be fun, but I don’t get all the games.
I agree that there is a nice balance of debate in IMHO with out the rudeness, and the seriousness.
GQ and IMHO are the first two forums I check when I visit here. GQ is more informative, but IMHO is more entertaining. Although, lately, ATMB has been pretty lively! Snork
GD is littered with religion and politics, two topics that piss me off. I stay far far away from that vile place.
My feelings exactly!
This is in the wrong forum. It should be in MPSIMS
No really, IMHO is supposed to be for questions where the answer is a matter of opinion rather than hard fact. Mind you, I’ve always thought that the name IMHO is confusing, because it sounds like it is merely inviting people to give their opinions on things. It should really be called IYHO, or What’s Your Opinion?, or something.
I’ve been avoiding IMHO lately. The topics are usually interesting to me since I am interested in subjects like psychology and sociology. But too often the forum puts me in a very introspective, self-critical mood, which I’d rather avoid. I prefer GQ right now.
