These two forums seem to have plenty of overlap – a thread that it would make sense to start in IMHO would also not seem out of place in MPSIMS. Could somebody provide more detail as to what the differences are?
If someone posts a general statement or rant that isn’t nasty enough for the Pit, it goes in MPSIMS. If someone asks a qustion that requires a specific answer, it belongs in General Questions. If someone asks a question involving personal preferences, it belongs in IMHO. If someone wants to start a poll, it belongs in IMHO.
Examples:
“What is the square root of 27?”-General Questions
“I know the square root of 27!”-MPSIMS
“Should the square root of 27 be allowed to be taught in schools?”-IMHO
“You can take the square root of 27 and shove it up your ass!”-BBQ Pit
“Should the sguare root of 27 be used as a factor in the Mid-East Peace Talks?”-Great Debates
“What is your favorite square root of 27?”-IMHO
All clear?
