importing email problem

A while back I switched from outlook express to Mozilla Thunderbird. For a couple of reasons, I want to switch back. However, I can’t for the life of me figure out how to import all that mail that’s in Thunderbird into OE. There’s an import wizard in OE, but it doesn’t seem to support importing from thunderbird. I tried googling, but everything I came up with was about how to switch to thunderbird from oe (apparently, I’m trying to go the wrong way down a one way street).

Anyone know how to do this? I’m stuck.

Google gave me this, which explains how to export to netscape, which can be imported into Outlook Express, which can be imported into Outlook (or something like that - check the site)

That worked perfectly. Convoluted enough that I never would have thought of it myself, and yet easy enough to make work on the first try. Thanks.

I can’t imagine what these couple of reasons might be. The only thing I can think of is if an employer demands that everyone must use OE.
