It is more important to behave in ways we don’t regret than it is to spend time with family for the sole reason that they are family.
Don’t go on the vacation.
Do with your husband what you think you should, regardless of what other family members do.
I have no idea whether the nature of the posting is reason to be suspicious but the situation and questions posed in the OP are interesting either way.

There are such huge holes in this story it makes it impossible to give the OP much credence.
IE -
The entire well to do family could care less about shuttling BIL hookups around like defacto pimps. I was the only one who would not actively help him cheat. But I felt I had to do more so I talked to a bunch of people about an affair that was really not my business and the very best solution I found was to get deeply involved and tell all to the priest counseling their marriage, because that was the best thing for everyone.
Now everyone hates me, the good guy, and my husband won’t stick up for me. I was just asking questions!
However, assuming all this is true
1: You have no common sense
2: Your husband is a complete worm (assuming tale is accurate with nothing left out)
3: You seriously do not know when to STFU
4: A normal woman would probably divorce him, but given your amazingly bad decision making skills he may be the best you can get
The reason that the family hates her is NOT because her husband lied.
She busted the adulterer. That is why they hate her. Out loud and in public.
We don’t know if the husband did it in public (in front of them) or in private.
Rethink your post.
You can’t chose your family (blood relatives at least) but you can chose your friends. You can also chose who you want to hang out with.
Part of my family are azzhats. So I don’t see them except for the occasional funeral or wedding. Even then I keep my distance.
Friends are often better than family (unless you need an organ transplant). If the family is poison to your well-being, dump them.
Wait, you participated in driving around his mistresses? Went on to tell everyone except the people involved about it? And now you care what his wife and self think or say about you? They blamed you for revealing the infidelity, but you want to vacation with them now?
You need professional help. Please get some!
How do people even get involved in these situations? Maybe this is why my life is relatively drama-free; I shut this shit down as soon as it starts. Driving someone’s mistresses around? How do you even say yes the first time?

Googled: About ten years ago my BIL cheated on his then fiancée. He involved me and my family in these adventures.

The circle of moms story includes a bit about how the vacation drama is effecting her poor children. She never replied to those threads either.:dubious:
No hijack intended, but what is the point of doing that. You have to go to the trouble of opening an account and then typing everything up for nothing. I suppose you could cut and paste so only have to type once but why all that effort for nothing. Is it just to see what attention they get?
All that being said, What a messed up family if true. I’d get the hell out of Dodge.
