About the competition: There are two winners (there are about 80 other apps in the competition). One is chosen by their judges and the other is the one who gets the most tweets/re-tweets from now on to December 29th. The tweets/re-tweets have to contain:
The hastag #imsynt (for my app)
The hashtag #intelandroid
Any variation of “I vote for the app”
Example:
“I vote for #imsynt on the Connect&Enrich challenge. RT to vote #intelandroid”
About my app: A direct link to the thread where I was “pimping” it is in my signature. (Also: here). It allows you to take your images and transform them into music (hence the synesthesia part).
Thank you for your help! I’ll post any/all news about this competition as soon as I get them.
I have a Windows Phone. I can’t in good conscience vote for an Android App.
(FTR, the phone cost me nothing after the contract. The phone selection at the time kind of sucked with the next decent phone costing $300 with a contract. I figured there are far better things I could spend $300 on.)
I don’t blame you. Microsoft dropped the ball on marketing Windows Phone and created a Catch-22 situation. No one wants to write apps for it because no one uses it. But no one wants to use it because there are no apps for it.
I’m probably switching to Android when my contract comes up in February or so. You can now get pretty nice phones on the cheap through Verizon unlike two years ago.
