In 2011 Everyone in America Will See a Natalie Portman Movie

This Post was originally meant to be a Reply to this Thread but I decided it warranted its own OP.
This movie (referring to No Strings Attached) doesn’t have to be good.

It fills a demographic hole in what seems to be a plan by Natalie Portman and/or her manager:
In 2011 Everyone in America Will See a Natalie Portman Movie

There will be people who see No Stings Attached who have no interest in[ul]
[li]Black Swan[/li][li]Your Highness[/li][li]Thor[/li][/ul]

And, of course, there will be some audience overlap.

Everone in America will see a Natalie Portman this year and in NONE of these movies will she be portraying a coming-of-age character and in NONE of these movies will she be portraying Princess Amidala.

This year, not only will she appeal to about as wide an audience as could be dreamed of, but she’ll almost certainly be spending this year promoting all these movies (well, the latter three anyway) while titled “Academy Award Nominee”- possibly “Academy Award Winner” (presumably for Black Swan).

We’re looking at one of the most strategic and wide-reaching re-brandings ever by a popular actor.

Well, seeing as she’s already got 4 movies in which she is not playing her typecast rolls, I’d say she’s already succeeded.

And she’s reportedly on board to play Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
