So where is a good place to hang out for the evening? Our hotel is right by Midway (oops on the part of my friend who booked it - was supposed to be downtown, of course). I’ve been once before, but it was a few years ago. Of course, one of the first things I did was find myself a genuine copy of the Chicago Reader. Made my day.

Any suggestions from the Teeming Millions?

That was an ooops. Midway is in the middle of nowhere for entertainment purposes. You can take the Orange (El) line downtown and the Red or Brown lines north frpom downtown to get to some more interesting areas. What are you looking for?
