I’m quite certain I’ve never seen another human with that 'do. The sides sweep in a wing-like fashion toward the back of the bean, presumably held in place horizontally by a spray that must be available by prescription only.
The top/front has been known to catch a gust of wind and flip to and fro like a sail while remaining as if it were a solid piece of matter.
Let’s not forget the color, which, to me, seems quite unnatural, although I suspect that it is his actual shade.
Has anyone read any information about any of the above?
mmm
Reports say he has suffered from alopecia since 1980 and has hada number of surgeries to maintain what little he has left. The meds he takes (propecia) causes erectile dysfunction. So that partly explains why he’s such an unapologetic asshole. Years of pent up frustration.
There’s a mention of it being colored close to what he has now along the way. The images show different colors over time. With him going close to what he has now for quite a while. His current elaborate combover seems to be pretty close in style to the way he’s worn his hair for most of his life. It’s gotten a little more extreme as he presumably lost more hair.
It’s not like bad combovers are new. I’m surprised you haven’t seen anybody else do it before.
His hair is sculpted by plastic surgery, specifically scalp reduction surgeries to remove the parts of his scalp which no longer grow hair, with the remainder taking on the current appearance.
His surgeon, Dr Hoefflin, is quite an interesting chap. The one time president of the LA Society of Plastic Surgeons, he also ran a brief independent campaign to become president of America back in 2008, and was found by the LAPD hiding in a tree with a pellet gun, claiming he was being hunted by John McCain’s assassins. He was put on a 72 hour psychiatric hold. He’s also alleged to have been the man who got Michael Jackson hooked on painkillers, after another botched scalp reduction (MJ having burned his scalp in an accident filming an advert), and to have been responsible for MJ’s nose. And, of course, the botched scalp reduction is alleged to have led to Trump raping his then-wife Ivana.
Between him, the one Trump’s goons robbed and Admiral White Tooth, Trump has a knack for choosing doctors.
I was watching his presser this morning. I couldn’t hear him speak as the color of his hair was so distracting. And the white halos around his eyes just creep me the eff out. I have decided it’s a hypnotic effect. And he’s doing it on purpose.
Neither Disney’s animatronic figurenor Madame Tussaud’s wax figure have been able to replicate his hairstyle. They always make his hair swoop across his forehead from left to right, when in actuality it somehow goes from front to back (or back to front, I can’t tell which ).
I personally think the white around his eyes is clown makeup. Really.
I saw a story on Facebook a while back that may be apocryphal, but I do find it believable. It was from a woman who, back in the 1980s, worked at a bookstore where he was doing a signing, and she was also enrolled in cosmetology school. She thought, “You’d think that someone as [allegedly] wealthy as he is could afford a proper color job.”
^^I remember when my daughter was learning about make-up as a young teen, the girls in her group decided that using concealer under your eyes was a good look. They went around with multi-colored undereyes for a whole year. It was hilarious. Thankfully someone found out how stupid it looked and changed the routine. So Trump is a teen girl playing with make-up. Oh great, I feel better now.
ETA, I have thought why doesn’t Melania or Ivanka clue him in on hair color. I assume they know the ins and outs.
Sorry if this is too much of a hijack, but how about the skin color. Is that a spray tan? How often must that me redone? And he can’t touch up the eyes?
Would any halfway competent cosmetician think that a desirable color? Why would he pick it?
Propecia causes ED in about TWO PERCENT of patients. Look it up. Study after study shows this. Maybe the President is part of the 2%, but to make a statement like “The meds he takes (propecia) causes erectile dysfunction.” is just plain wrong. Ninety-eight percent of users do not report this problem.
