Actually, the article is pretty amazing. Apparently, the flight crew and the cabin crew on this flight got into a punching match because the flight attendents accused the pilots of sexual harrassment.
Hm. This totally didn’t happen when I flew Air India last month. My pilot was a woman, though.
They are on my family’s list on “We’ll take the more expensive ticket with the grownup airlines, thanks.” We flew them a couple of times back in the 80s and even I remember how awful they were. As in, they left 2 days late one time :mad:
I remember one of my law school classmates told me about how she was flying them back from Delhi to Chicago and the air conditioning or something broke and water started seeping up from the floors and dripping from overhead in the middle of the flight and everyone was freaking out but the flight attendants were completely blase about it (which makes me think about the recent SNL sketch).
I’ve managed to avoid the old mothership for the last 12 years but back when I used to go we would take British Airways or Lufthansa.
I flew Air India a few times and what I remember is the flight attendant going down the aisle with a green garbage food dumping the meals, (even the Indians didn’t eat the wretched food!), as they went. Lovely.
Yeah… if you need to go to India, fly Emirates.
