Or at least for this year.
At 2:30 today I get to leave work, hop on a plane and fly to London. That’s not so much an adventure as I’ve done that a few times before. This time though I get to borrow a bike and head off to the mainland.
The first stop is Holland so see Golden Earring play. I’ll also be stopping off and looking at megaliths, hey I can’t fully stop being a geek while I’m on vacation.
After missing Clogboy since he’ll be away that weekend I’ll make my way down to Italy where I’ll be swimming agaist some of the best swimmers in the world. On the way I’ll get to see the Swiss alps and who knows what else.
After a week in Italy my adventure really gets to start, I’ll be making my way through eastern Europe, through places like Slovina, Yogoslavia and Romania. I can’t wait to see Dracula’s castle and the Black Sea. I recently read my report I did on Romania from the 7th grade and have wanted to go there ever since. So almost 20 years later I get to go.
Then I get to high tail it back to England where I’ll spend a few days in Scotland. Finally I will get to spend almost a week in Ireland with a friend who I haven’t seen in a year. He’s been nice enough to let me stay at his place.
However, even this adventure must end and I’ll have to make my back to London to take a plane home. 
I guess five weeks is a good enough time for a vacation, I just wonder what I’ll be able to do to top this one.
If you see some guy on a motorcycle that looks like he’s having fun that’ll be me, other wise I’ll see you guys sometime in July.
