Lately this is becoming something of a crusade, because my GF would like to try it [I tried it last year in NZ, and it was really good]. I wouldn’t mind some myself…alright, I’d scarf it down.
The obligitory Google search brought up multitudes of people (mostly ex-pat Kiwis) reminiscing about it, and even a receipe or two [with my kitchen skills, that would not be wise].
Before I call the NZ consulate in New York (really not a good idea… ‘Uh, got any hokey pokey ice cream lying around, Sir?’), any ideas?
