In what order do you usually put on/take off your clothes?

Inspired by this thread.

I am beginning to wonder if I am weird for putting my tops on before my bottoms. When I get ready for work in the mornings, I usually put on my undershirt first, then my underpants. Then my socks go on, because my feet get cold easily and it is easier to put them on if I’m not wearing pants. After that, I go back up to the top and I put on my dress shirt first, then my pants. The reasoning for this is that it is much easier to tuck in my shirt if it is on before the pants come up. Then comes the tie, then the vest, then the belt, then, if it is especially cold or I have some other reason to do so, I put on my suit jacket. Shoes are by the door, so they are the very last part of the ensemble.

When I get home from work, shoes off first, then jacket. Vest and tie come off. Then my belt. Then my dress pants and dress shirt. If it is warm enough, I’ll just stay in my undies and for the rest of the evening. If not, I throw on something warm and comfy like a robe.

I’d say this is pretty normal. But I’m particularly interested in whether other people put a shirt on before they put underpants on. Am I doing it wrong?

Underpants, pants. bra, shirt, sandals - that’s for summer.

Spring and fall it’s underpants, sock, sock, pants, shoe, shoe, bra, shirt, jacket (if needed)

For winter it’s underpants, long underwear, sock, sock, pants, shoe, shoe, bra, shirt, sweater/overshirt (if required), coat, hat, scarf, gloves.

Underpants, bra, this time of year an undershirt or themal shirt (I work in a building cool in the summer, and fridgid the rest of the year - they run the air conditioner even in the winter “for the computers”), socks, pants, shirt or sweater, and last shoes. Elsewise, when I don’t have to tuck in an undershirt, I put my shirt on, then pants.

When I get home the shoes come off immediately. No set pattern of removal for the rest other than top layers off first, of course.

Getting dressed in the morning, it goes: panties, bra, socks, pants, shirt. Then I either put my shoes on when I come out of my room, and my jacket, hat and gloves right before I leave or I walk around in sock feet until it’s time to leave, then put on jacket, shoes, hat and gloves (in that order).

When I get home, I take off my hat and gloves as I’m walking up the stairs, then shoes right after I walk through the door, then jacket, then feed cat, then take off the bra, then eat dinner, then change out of my work clothes to my lay-around-at-home clothes. (shirt off, pants off, other pants on, other shirt on).

Getting Dressed: robe, boxers, pants, shirt, socks, shoes, hat

Undressing: Hat, shirt, shoes, socks, pants, boxers

I have no idea. This is not something I’ve ever felt was noteworthy enough to devote a nanosecond of thought to (even though I just posted about it).

getting dressed it’s always boxers first. Then if I’m wearing work clothes I put on undershirt and overshirt, button it up than throw on my pants, tie than jacket and finally shoes. If I’m going out (no need to tuck a shirt in) than it’s pants first than shirt. Maybe that’s weird.

Getting home I always take my shirt off, then my pants, put on my pj pants, than a new shirt.

First underpants and undershirt, in either order (mostly, whichever I happen to dig out of the laundry basket first). Then overshirt and socks, in either order (depending on whether my torso or feet are feeling colder that morning), followed by pants. Then shoes, then belt and assorted pocket litter (wallet, pocketknife, keys, etc.). If I’m wearing a tie, that comes after, and if a suit jacket, not until I’m on the way out the door.

When I come home, shoes come off almost immediately, and belt and pocket litter as soon as I decide that I’m not going out any more that evening. The rest follows sporadically, depending on how warm I am.

In the summer, it’s the same except skip the undershirt and socks (I wear sandals when it’s warm enough).

Morning: walk out of bathroom naked, then boxers, undershirt and to into closet. Pants on, work shirt on, button and tuck. Then sit and put on socks and shoes (sock-sock-shoe-shoe), then blazer if it’s not cold enough outside for a coat.

After dinner: unbutton shirt, unbutton pants, take off shirt and undershirt. Sit and take off shoes and socks (shoe-shoe-sock-sock). Take off pants, take off underwear. Put on pj pants, then sweatshirt, then socks.

Bedtime: take off sweatshirt, then pj pants, then socks.

I do underpants, bra, shirt, pants, sock/sock, shoe/shoe.

My (5 year old) son uses your technique, seodoa - sock/sock, shirt, sweatshirt/sweater if he’s going to wear one, then he does underpants and pants. If he gets distracted during the process, he’ll run around underwearless in his socks and shirt for awhile.

Bra, T-shirt, Blouse/Sweater/Jacket/ Vest, Panties, Pantyhose, Slacks/Skirt, Shoes

OR

Bra, Slip, Dress, Vest/Jacket, Panties, Pantyhose, Shoes

Undies, bra, top, bottom.

I always put my top on before my bottom, which annoys me to no end cause then I have to fold up top to zip/snap/tie bottom. I don’t know why I don’t just remember to put bottoms on first.

**Putting on my clothes: **underpants, shirt, pants, socks, shoes.

**Taking off my clothes: **shoes, socks, pants, shirt, underpants.

**Taking off my partner’s clothes: **shoes, socks, shirt (unbutton very slowly, then pull it wide open, exposing and feeling his beautiful torso), unbuckle belt, unfasten pants, unzip (feel how hard he’s getting), pull pants down to knees, start to slowly pull down underpants (at a certain point his cock springs out and hits me in the face), then pull pants and underpants down to his ankles. Feel his long legs with my hands. At this point I stop and enjoy the scene I’ve created: he’s standing there, naked, except that his shirt is wide open and his pants are around his ankles. I love seeing him that way.

Oh, you didn’t ask that, did you?

I always put my clothes on before I take them off.

Kinky!

Putting on: Boxers, socks, shirt, pants, belt, shoes, tie, ID badge, coat.

Taking off: Coat, shoes, then walk over to table to take off badge, then over to bed to take off pants, then back to closet to deal with tie, shirt, and socks.

Putting on:
