Now, none of the posts I’ve read here come across as telling her "GO FOR IT!!! :D:D:D" OTOH, there hasn’t been much focus on talking her out of the prank either.
We’re thinking of different others. The others I was referring to were here real life coworkers who stopped her from her crappy plan; an action that seems incredibly logical. This tale isn’t that tall. Poster gets mad, thinks up over the top revenge, is talked out of it chooses a more passive aggressive revenge and as far as we know never enacted that one either.

All of this can be done online, by entering some basic information such as weight, dimensions, destination, etc. Yes, even shipments to Australia. It can even be done over the phone. Hell, even the buyer can do this and forward the shipping instructions to the seller.
And some buyer once instructed her to ship by sea (I assume this is why it took three months to get to him)? Yeah, right.

Just want to point out that, if someone heard the legend and reenacted it, Snopes would not count the legend as true because of that. I believe the term he uses for that is “ostentation.” I’m sure, for example, that someone has actually put razors in Halloween candy because they’d heard the legend.
Now, if they came up with it on their own, even after the legend was out, that would be different.

Well, if you read the OP, and it’s possible I’m the only one who did, she certainly didn’t sell a handbag this time for sure. The buyer paid for years of abuse instead.
As for contrivance I highly doubt it. I’ve heard plans that will curl your toes when people feel wronged. They get worked up, imaginations get going, evil revenge plots are hatched, then they somewhat cool down. That’s life. If she was faking the story I’d expect there would have been some action in there not just evil thoughts.
Also her one reply in the thread suggests this wasn’t contrived either. It shows an utter disregard for any reaction her plan has gotten yet does nothing to stir the waters. It’s a dismissal plain and simple not a trap to engage people further. If this is a fake then IMHO it’s a really well thought out one and if you can think that well, you’d have frankly been more creative with the OP.
One more thing, I highly doubt she goes through with her current plan of sending in photos of her using the purse. That’s too much like work. I mean, she couldn’t even be bothered to send the purse, there’s no way she’ll find the motivation to send the pictures.

If you have some weird fixation with those two, why not call them out in the threads where they actually say something unbelievable, instead of stalking them and hijacking other threads?
