Yes he did wear those boots. They were made by my best friends grandfather who has made handmade boots for 6 presidents and countless numbers of stars.
I watched part of it because nothing else was on, then I went on-line, got bored and then went to buy stuff for baking today, though most of the frosting ended up on me instead of the cookies. Long story, kind of sitcomish. Actually the most political-ish thing I did was wish I was at the parade merely because my best friend is there and I miss her a whole lot.

I attended the Narcotics Anonymous convention at the Burbank Hilton! Woohoo!!!
Watched most of the inauguration with a big grin on my face. Went out of my way to laugh at the protesters. All in all a very enjoyable day.
I slept in 'til noon, then my fiancée and I went bowling with some friends. I spent most of the rest of the night playing Metropolis Street Racer on my Dreamcast, until I got tired. Caught a little bit about it while channel surfing and thought to myself “Oh yeah, that was today, wasn’t it?”
