If you live in Indiana - this is advertised as the site to go to - and people are even required to go to it - to job search by the state employment office. It is owned by geographic solutions based in Florida with an office also in California. The visa card for unemployment compensation and the ebt card for snap benefits also come from a Florida company (same company?). All Indiana Career Connect is - is software - using applicants zip code or whatever they put in to the search engine. It also figures out what jobs people have been laid off from - then the software can find (or manufacture?) jobs that fit that category. Many times those jobs do not even exist. Indiana applicants applying for unemployment benefits are required to sign in and create a resume (only 1) in the job category they just left - this then gives geographic solutions all your personal information - including your social security number. Geographic solutions makes alot of money selling that information (notice how you will begin to get alot of spam after they get your email address). They also pay small amounts to companies who they list as jobs available (often there are really no jobs available). Geographic solutions is also used in other states and for other programs - and receive lots of government money for their services.

Most people in my county are being trained in Medical billing - however the medical billing is now being done overseas not in the USA.
Employment office says we are to only create one resume - not waste their resources - by making copies for different jobs. Denied me use of phone and copier and fax machine use. It states right on the workone sites that these are available for use. Several large rooms filled with computers - that they are to lazy to let people use.
I actually am finding out that the companies on this site - most haven’t hired anyone in months - I think it is just free advertising for them - or does the state give them some money for listing on this site? I do know my research showed that the same company that does the ICC site does the same thing in other states. Obviously the people who are manufacturing this ICC site are making money somehow from all of this.
