At first I assumed this was one of the poor to middling low budget sci fi movies that seem to be churned out for the straight to DVD market.
But it turned out to be pretty damn good, and the only CGI I noticed was in exterior shots of the station and wind turbines that power it. Good sets and amazing for the budget.
If I have a complaint it is that there are elements of the plot I felt needed more exploration, the motive of the villain is very vague. Also the ending is ambiguous maybe?
A space mining station far out in the galaxy mining a volatile substance for fuel has a problem, rescue team comes back and triggers a lethal quarantine which one person escapes. Now a team is sent to rescue him and shut down the station.
Not exactly original but well done.
