Inflatable travel pillows. Do you use one?

I am kinda fond of these items. I bought one at Target for five bucks about ten years ago. It developed a leak on the seam and I wasn’t able to repair it.

I drove my mouse to Amazon and was confused because there were so many. Now they have little tits on the sides, which seems like a good idea.

I will be traveling soon and would to select one. Can you recommend one?

Thank you.

There’s a newish thingy called a T-Pillow or similar, which aren’t anything like the old clunkers (inflatable and foam) that used to adorn the necks of plane travellers on their way to some distant idyll.

I haven’t tried one yet, but will do so for my upcoming trip in August. The foam one I have previously used was as useless as tits on a bull.

I have not had much luck with the conventional ‘collar’ ones, but recently got another style that may be the T style. It allows support from the seat/lap, as well as a strap that can go around the body and/or seat head rest flap. It looks promising, as it appears it can really support one’s head. I will be trying it soon.

Tried the inflatable collar style pillow, found it didn’t work well for me. Also tried this thing. I think the problem with both types is that my head tends to fall forward. Not quite sure, as it’s been years since I gave up on these things.

Tried a couple of these type of things. They’re kind of small, the shaped foam one is as tight as a noose on my neck, the long flexible type was just too short. Maybe the inflatable kind would help but I also have that problem of my head falling forward.

I bought one of these a few months ago and already used it on one redeye flight. If the link doesn’t work, it’s called a Trtl travel pillow and it’s basically a plastic shield inside a scarf. You position the shield at the side or front of your neck and wrap the scarf part around your neck to secure it. (I think there’s some sort of velcro closure to keep the scarf in place.) I thought it would look silly and probably it does, but I think I slept better on that flight than on previous redeye flights.

I got a great one at Nordstrom’s Rack maybe 6 months ago. The ones you get at the airport tend to develop leaks after about a half dozen times. Still, much better than a stiff neck.
