“Instant karma’s gonna get you
Gonna knock you right on the head”
I just realized that my most perfect example of instant karma is so literal to that line that it’s not even funny. Well, yeah…it is. 
I’m about 16 at the time. My best friend and I were walking to the park one day after school, like we usually did. We’re walkin, we’re talkin, and BAM! She just walks headfirst into the pole of a bus stop sign . ( Was it always there? we couldn’t decide. ) Anyhow, I laughed my silly ass off for quite awhile. She, on the other hand, was hurt and rather annoyed that I thought she was a complete and total moron.
The very next day, same time, same Karmic channel, we’re walkin to the park again.
Guess who walks into that very same pole?
Sigh. Really, what are the odds?! And for the record, I totally didn’t learn my lesson. I know I would still relish the hell out of a similar situation, were one to arise. Tee hee.
