Instant Wonton Soup - just add boiling water. Sort of like Lipton Cup-o-Soup or Maruchan Raman noodles.
While googling indicates such a product is available in Japan and China, and thus hopefully other places, my physcial search on Long Island New York have so far turned up nothing. So, where can I find such a product?
I realize, of course, that it will not quite equal the quality of ‘fresh’ Chinese take-out wonton soup, but close enough will do.
I find them all the time next to the ramen and cup-o-soup. I live in the twin cities area of Minnesota.
I don’tknow about long island, but I can find then in pretty much any asian supermarket in california.
Maruchan, the same company that makes the ramen ‘instant lunch’, also makes ‘instant wonton’ in a number of flavors. Not quite the wonton soup you’d get at a restaurant, but not bad if you like wonton.
