Not at all.
Ah, hell, I’ve been meaning to do this for years, why not . . . Hi there everyone!
I once walked into a job interview dressed in a dress and heels, with a black motorcycle helmet tucked under my arm. Interviewer raised an eyebrow and I said, “car wasn’t running, and I really wanted to keep my appointment with you, so I borrowed a friend’s motorcycle. Apologies if I look a little wind blown.”
They appreciated my commitment, and I got the job! Which gives me a lead-in to my piece of advice:
Don’t drive a motorcycle on the freeway in open toed heels. Kicked-up rocks on toes hurt
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 76 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 99 and sunny for the day. Gonna be another hawt one! A definite stay in the a/c day.
Welcome cheesey! Sit back, take your shoes off and use a coaster.
Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence.
Happy Tuesday Y’all!
Welcome to our little clubhouse, cheesey! (Yeah, da **bear **spelled it wrong, but now you’re stuck with it. )
Back in the middle 70s when I was stationed in San Diego and taking flying lessons, one of the instructors used to ride his motorcycle frequently. On one particularly warm day, he was pulling on his various leathers, and I asked him how he could stand it - he remarked it was better than being turned into hamburger should he have an accident. To this day, I think of him when I see people riding in shorts and flip-flops and tank tops.
I remember the conversation, but for the life of me, I can’t remember his name… :smack:
My sweetie got up with Higgs again and I kinda sorta slept till about 6:30. He also did the nasty dishes that I left piled up last night and he scooped the cat box. What a guy!!! When I finally decided to get productive, I’ll be gathering the household garbage - today is trash and recycling to the convenience center day! WOOHOO!! Not sure what else the day holds. Not too worried about it.
Happy Tuesday!
Dogbutt, which Staley cup is that? Dawn, Joe, or Layne? :smack:
Ohhhh, you mean this guy.
For those into bling: Silence is golden, but duct tape is silver!
Happy Toosday!
aol keeps interrupting my posting and kicks me off the dope
they were stupid enough to ask my opinion of them I doubt they are going to like it
anyway cable still screwed up I am on mobile hotspot
Surgery is tomorrow
{{{Sunny}}}
**sari **- good thoughts for an uneventful surgery!!
Hi AuGratin.
I got up several hours earlier today than yesterday, so hooray for me.
I hope to make progress on my new (old) music arrangement today. Well, it’s pretty much a finished arrangement, it’s just that I have to input all the notes into a better music software program.
Up and caffeinated, working closing shift tonight. I slept in till 0745 today.
Yeah I misspelled it. I was excited. And drinking.
: crosses appropriate and inappropriate appendages for sari :
Welcome cheesey!
What a cheesy welcome.
I’m shocked!
Nice to see Kimonen get the first skate.
Good. Glad that’s over. Now, about baseball,
It’s the middle of June and
The METS ARE STILL IN FIRST PLACE !!!

Cheesy, just ignore flytrap. It’s too late for the rest of us, but save yourself.
Blurf!
and
my .sig to all
Howdy! People ask me why I wear long sleeves even on the hottest days. You ever hit one of those huge ground bees at 70mph or had one blow up your sleeve at speed? Not a fun experience.
The short version is “Dress for the slide, not the ride”.
Every one is a critic. :dubious:
Off to work.
I know you’re bitter about the Islanders moving to Brooklyn, but no need to become a hater.:p;)
Flytrap, because you make it easy for us.
N.O.L.time! Turkey sammich and chips. Not real excitatin’ but it’ll hold me until dindin which shall be sketties 'n meatballs, sallit, and cheesey garlic bread.
Cheesey or Cheesy I’m really the only one that matters.
Sari appropriate/inappropriate appendages re the surgery and a speedy recovery.
For some reason, last fall, I turned off the power to the attic fan. I just realized it last night, and today it’s humming along. I expect the air conditioner will be glad of that.
Just finished helping **FCD **put the primer coat on his bike parts. My job was to hand him the pieces to be sprayed and take away the pieces that had been sprayed. Thanks to gloves and an apron, I didn’t get primer on me - yay. And we got done really fast - it was a pretty efficient operation.
Now all the parts need to cure, probably till tomorrow, when he’ll sand before applying the undercoats. Some parts will have black under, some will have silver, some will have both. The effect will be, from bottom to top, dark to light green. I don’t know what kinds of graphics he’s planning to use - he was talking about flaming skulls.
Oh, and we went to the convenience center this morning, so all trash and recycling, as well as the bag of clothes I wanted gone, have all been dispatched. It’s been a productive day so far.
Baseball? What’s that? The Bay Area is agog for basketball right now.
Oooh! Flaming skulls. Sounds like a bad hair day when I was a red head.
I have most of the art done on my bike now. It’s just a matter of finding a convenient time for both me and my ex to get in his shop together. I figure he’ll make time when he wants artwork for something of his.
Why, yes. Yes, I have. Except it lodged perfectly between my collar and my helmet. Wedged itself in. Expressed itself, painfully, before I could get off the road and stripped. And then I had my collar rubbing on the sting mark for the next week or so. Stoopid bee.
Welcome Cheesy!
Sari Good luck! Thinking of you.
