Every time I come to the SDMB, I feel like I’ve taken a stupid pill. I’m not up to speed on current events, don’t know diddly squat about religion, and pay absolutely no attention to politics. Even if I had an opinion on such popular topics of discussion, I wouldn’t be able to express them intelligently.
I doubt that I’ll ever go to a Dope Fest-- If one of the Smart Dopers were to strike up a conversation with me, I’d stand there with a blank look and finally say, “Thank You?”

Can I stay if I own the book but have not actually read it? It just sits there on the shelf to impress guests. And that name I gave…that’s not really the name of the book, just a false cover I put on an old Steven King novel. But the language is a rare French/New Guinea dialect. Very rare. Can I please stay?
