Interesting little historical "How Stuff Works" firearms quiz - 30 questions

27/30 and I quibble on one of the ‘wrong’ answers:
The survey claims the answer about duelling pistols was wrong, but in fact, there were two correct answers. Duelling psitols were common in both flintlock and percussion cap models.

Got the H&K VP70 wrong.
Got the reason for Squeaky Fromm’s failure wrong.
So I’m calling it 27/29. :stuck_out_tongue:

DAmn near what it was, really - Variable yield in the mosts updated form from 10 tons equavalent, to 250 tons equvalent. Pocket change, really, when you’re talking about nukes. :stuck_out_tongue:

24/30 – if this hoplophobe did that well, it wasn’t really a test of technical knowledge.

I also am disappointed that the answer to the Squeaky Fromme question wasn’t “it didn’t go off!”

I had a VP70 back in the day as they say. Not a very good pistol. Big and clunky with a horrid trigger pull. The HiPoint of the 70’s.

27/30

But then I got distracted by doing the muscle car quiz, the engine quiz, the firearm safety quiz…

Thanks!

It’s a gin-u-wine Heckler und Koch. Correction: a Hi Point but 3x the price
