My brother found a giant black beetle in the house, which was pretty cool. It was an inch long. I’m almost certain it’s a darkling beetle, but Professor Google is monstrously unhelpful when it comes to identifying the eighty bajillion different types of darkling beetle. Anyhoo, it looked like this, more or less, and I think it’s the second-largest beetle I’ve seen on my property. Awesome, right?
