Intermediate economics/philosophy books

Amazon.com spending spree!

It’s really hard for me to read some of these archaic old mutts. As much as I’d like to read Wealth of Nations, whatever benefits the horse’s mouth has over the wiki page can’t possibly justify the tedium. Not to say I can’t read really dense shit. I’m purchasing A Theory of Justice, because I think it’s well worth the tedium. The sort of shit that I’ve liked best is The Wordly Philosophers. I’m open to anything about morality, markets and everything in between. It can as dense as you want it do be, as long it makes up for it.

Any dopers ever read anything like that?
