MicroSoft has gone into the auto business? No good can come of this.
Oh no no, I can wait, really. I thought it was designed, it’s just that the prototype has been kept under wraps, guarded by Fluffy, the giant three-headed monster dog in Harry Potter.
If, after it’s unveiled, it turns out to be a bust, then I’ll take the Smart Car. I’ve been without a car for 19 years, I can wait a little longer.
They have the basic shape down… but the rest is just a bunch of “it will be able to do this, this and this” without actually answering how.
I wouldn’t bet against Gordon Murray- he designed the McLaren F1, among other things- but there’s an awful lot of promises and awfully few answers there.
