My god, I’ve never realised how eye-gougingly bad most of my favourite internet sites are when they have ads on them.
For as long as I can remember I’ve always had some kind of blocking software, but I’ve recently just started out with a fresh install and have not got round to setting up adblock.
How do people stand it? Some ads even seem to follow you as you scroll down the page, whilst flashing neon colours no less.
I can understand why people like google ads so much now - they provide useful info without trying to shove it down your throat. I’d be 100’s of times more likely to click one of them than the more traditional banners
