I’ve looked through all caribbean countries and have not found one with main european religions other than christian ones. Ditto for north america and south america. Europe is out. That leaves Asia and Australia, unless I’m missing something. I’m also going to look into the south pacific “remote” islands… Man, this is turning out to be a bitch.

Ok, how about Asatrú (sometimes called Odinism) which is one of the two offical religions in Iceland and originated in Scandinavia?

I won? I really won? Wow, uhm, I don’t know what to say. Uhm, I’d like to thank all those who voted and especially Macrophage for not posting, especially when I told him about it and said it probably wasn’t it.
Actually, I think it was google on “oficial religions” “pagan” “country” that got me the hit. Just out of curiosity, exactly part of what continent do you consider Iceland to be part of? I sense a cultural gap is at play here.
Anyway, I’m at work now, and shouldn’t even be here, but the temptation was to much. I’ll porbably post the next riddle late in the afternoon, unless someone wants to take a shot.

I considered Iceland an island nation and not part of a continent. It looks closer to North America than to Europe to me on the globe but I know that is deceiving. It is kind of like Hawaii. I don’t consider Hawaii part of a continent either. It is smack in middle of the ocean. Sorry for the confusion.
