I would say we would have a better chance at finding out if you told us how don’t be squeamish found it.
Chavardz:
You posted while you were drunk. Never, ever post when you are drunk.
I suggest someone else start a hunt, don’t be squeamish seems to be … lost.
The post on this thread wasn’t posted while drunk. I opened a thread to discuss my drunkeness.
The page that had the question was:
http://internetdetective.blogspot.com
The question was: what’s my post count?
All you had to do was figure out the Blog site (I hinted it was a popular one) and put in the name of the thread, which I metioned was in the address.
I vote for missing_link to start a new one.
Well done don’t be squeamish - I would have got there if I hadn’t had to go .
I think you should give don’t be squeamish a bit more time to either think of or set up a question.
Failing that though, missing_link gets my vote too.
Thanks for your votes of confidence . I have quite a lot of work to do right now, so I couldn’t post a question anyways till the evening. So let’s say if don’t be squeamish hasn’t posted the next question till I get home at about 7 p.m., I’ll post the next one.
Well, it seems that don’t be squeamish still isn’t around.
So I’ll post a question. It is a pretty easy one and there should be no language barriers.
What is the adress of the house on the picturehere ?
Swedish German again? groan
I’ll try and solve it a bit later, I have some work to do now.
You should be able to solve it without having to read swiss german. Honestly. There probably are some sites in german about it but as far as I know, using only sites in english should suffice.
I say -

(but I’m guessing you didn’t mean internet address…)
Well, that gives ten points for ingenuity, but no, I meant the actual physical adress of the house.
Hint: It was designed by a famous architect
Is the famous architect your namesake?
No, it isn’t. I didn’t even know that there is an architect with that name, but as I said, there are David Schmids all over the place here, one was bound to become an architect.
The architect is actually world famous. I don’t want to give too many hints, because as soon as you know his name you find it pretty quickly, so I’ll just say: “Le”
Hoeschgasse 8 - 8034 Zurich - Switzerland
8 Höschgasse (Zürichhornpark) Zurich
DAMMIT! I had it but the dang site wouldn’t load for post!
Yes, absolutely correct. It is called the Heidi - Weber house and is situated next to a park at the shores of the Zurich lake. It was designed by LeCorbusier in the 60s. It’s a really cool building and houses artwork and furniture of LeCorbusier. More info can be found at http://www.lecorbusier-centre.com/
Guess keturah is the winner… I hope the new question is posted up soon.
Can anyone tell me how they found it.
Sorry guys, I posted and then went out. Re [b/] Chavardz[b/] I knew as soon as [b/]missing link[b/] said “Le”, but then I am married to an architect. I just searched google images for Le Corbusier until I found a building with similar characteristics to the photo. It was a guess, albeit an educated one.
I will defer my question (as I am better at answering than questioning) until I think of one. In the meantime [b/]primesite[b/] the floor is yours.
damn, I meant to preview and apparently don’t know how to code.
mea culpa.
