Whoops. hit submit too soon. The KFC Giant Chicken thing.
Damn we did a lot of simulposting. Thank you kindly. Give me about 10 minutes for the next one session of internet detective.
I play a game called go. I currently admire someone for his unorthodox corner openings. Who is he and what are the coordinates of the point that he was recently known to play.
drat! I actually have to do some work…maybe I’ll still be able to figure this one out before anyone else.
Hmmm… no Hits yet. So, here is a hint: 1978 Asahikawa City.
My guess: Yamashito Keigo (B, W + 1.25)
Yamashita Keigo D4?
or rather, B, W + R
Buddy has the name but not the opening move. D4 is a very standard go move.
Whoops and earthpuppy too. Still not the opening move though. (This one should be a little tougher.)
Japan 29th Tengen Title final game 2: Yamashita Keigo vs Hane Naoki. D17? (BTW I have absolutely no idea how to play Go so this may take some time )
same here, BtoB!
Or maybe…(one more try before I Go and leave it in your capable hands earthpuppy)…
Japan 29th Tengen Title final game 1: Hane Naoki vs Yamashita Keigo. R16? - he actually won that one!
He wins a lot of games. r16 and d4 are both very common. They are the 3/4 point and 4/4 point (the board is symmetrical) respectively. Unorthodox moves make for easier searching. Your Senseis may know better.
Hint hint
Crap, I meant Unconventional, not unorthodox.
I’m going to have to give up. I can’t figure out where to find specific moves or how to interpret coordinates. It’s making my head hurt!
I found this info, am I correct?
6/4
YES! That is it! earthpuppy has won. Sorry it took long to get back, I just ran back from lunch.
You practically had to hand it to me in order for me to get it though!!! Maybe someone else would like to come up with the next question, my head still hurts!
