Internet Detective (Game)

I have learned all about the man in black… but I can’t find any friggin flag.

How bout a little hint?

:: lurks back to find some antigens ::

I´ll be damned if I know who that Man In Black is supposed to be…

I think I know who the man in black is supposed to be, he sang about the flag, didn’t he, but I cant find any reference about the flag hanging in his show.

Elwood Blues???

:stuck_out_tongue:

Come on guys, try a little harder. A google of ‘man in black’ turns up This as the first result. The man in black was none other than Jimmy Cash.
Now for the second clue. Where might you find the demands of an artist prior to his concerts?

The basic tool here and which no doper should ever be witout: google. As Chavardz suggested, I googled man in black, and got the guy, problem is… the question.

In the interest of speeding this along, I’ll add just one more commet before going to sleep.

The demands of an artist for a concert are in a contract that’s called a _______ _________.

Just for the record, it’s Johnny Cash, not Jimmy…

still looking…

Flag had to be 3’ x 5’

Classic Coke

Here’s my question:

In 1996, what offbeat roadside tourist attraction near me was destined for destruction, but was saved by the pleas of local residents?

Please post a link to a photograph of said attraction.

Well, it’s not REAL near, but the only offbeat roadside tourist attraction I can think of is South of the Border… total guess. But if so, here are some pics:

OOO I know this one… Let me find a picture. I can add that the locals were slowly stealing and hoarding away the antiques behind a false wall too.

Degive’s Opera Theater I think. I couldn’t remember the exact name but this is what the search brought up. And a pox to you for finding Johnny Cash’s information before I had a chance. :stuck_out_tongue:

wrong answer, gonzo.

sounds like you’re on the wrong track, dorkusmalorkusmafia :dubious:

not what I had in mind, ** dorkusmalorkusmafia**. Keep guessing.

Hmm, I guess it wasn’t the one you were looking for. My best friend who is from Atlanta talked about an old opera house that was going to be torn down but the locals squirreled away all the antiques and eventually made it into a historic landmark. I will keep looking then.

clue: North Atlanta Suburb

gonzoron, you’re looking in the right place, though…

Are you thinking of the Drive in theater in Marietta? Hmmm that one wasn’t saved but closed.

Looks like this is what you are talking about then.

You got it! The Big Chicken
