So, since the internet popped onto my desk, I note my consumption of porn has increased dramatically in quantity (though remains pretty much unchanged in quality; ie fairly pedestrian stuff) since my magazine and videotape days.
I guess my question is: is there any validity to the oft-repeated gag about the masturbation superhighway? Do we all just have a lot more porn now?
Any thoughts on this? Anyone else notice this? Or am I alone in the long boat heading to the land of Onan?
Yeah, rjung is right. The internet allows pornographers to make their goods available to anyone with a computer, and at the same time avoid being harassed by vocal religious freaks who think they have a right to a society where there exists nothing that offends them, which might make it seem like there’s more of it out there. Of course, it is also possible that there really is more porn out there than there was before the internet.
After the NYC dopefest, I was dropped off in Boston by Robot Arm so that I could take a bus back to school. While there, I went to a newsstand in search of reading material. It occured to me that I had never bought a pornographic magazine, and I decided to get one on a whim.
When I got back to school, I thought I could sell it to one of the boys in my dorm. The response I got: Why buy a magazine when I can get all I want for free off the internet?
Well, there is no real debate here. The best place I can think of to put this thread (other than in the bath to wash it off) is in IMHO. So that’s where it’s going.
Oh goodness…that isn’t really a request to see any, I’m not encouraging posting of a link that will get deleted…I was just momentarily facinated it exists…
