Internet Radio

I listen to internet radio at work (live365 in case that makes a difference). I enjoy it a lot and have tuned in at home as well. I have not kept up with the current news on the fate of internet radio but do remember my husband mentioning a month or so back that it’s time may be limited because of royalty fees and something else that I can’t seem to remember.

I’m interested in subscribing on but don’t know if that’s wise if the fate of internet radio is up in the air. Should I?

(FWIW, I’m on the phone as part of my job and an IPOD and earphones are out of the question while at work.)

FWIW, the satelite companies are sort of the best of both worlds. You can use it in the car, and they come with online access as well.

You could consider subscribing to XM. Most of their channels are available to listen to online for subscribers. And they’re not exactly in the same boat as internet-only broadcasters, I don’t think.
