I do not have Harley breath as my two-wheeled machines don’t have an attached motor (unless I’m clipped in), nor am I a chicken, you Turkey. :eek: I was out attending to my superhero duties & assisting a distressed damsel. Good Karma points from that would more than offset any falsehoods you might attempt to attribute to me.
Oh, & Swampy, SHAME on you for having no shame. 
Just got home to a partially white driveway & a revised forecast of only 1-2". Another bust of a storm. ::sigh:: There’s probably more dust on the snowshoes than white on the ground as they haven’t been out since 2011.

Today is my extremely short day. It makes my paycheck cry (I almost cried when I saw it yesterday) but at least I’m getting hours. For once, we haven’t lost any desk people in the slow season so Squirrel AGM has to find hours for the three of us non-audit people. Night Audit Lady is the only one making her 40/week right now.

My mom’s company offered a buyout about two weeks ago and it was an offer she couldn’t refuse, so she is retiring after 40+ years. Today is her last day and we’re (me and my dad, yes I know it’s weird because they aren’t together, but whatever, lol) taking her out to dinner to celebrate. Of course, the caterer in me wanted to throw a party, but she doesn’t want one.

I finished the ruana last night, and I’ve got to un-knit it. The dimensions are all wrong - knitting with size 13 needles makes a way-too-stretchy stitch. As I un-knit, I’ll re-crochet it - that should give me a more even result. We shall see.
Higgs escaped her crate this morning - guess we’ll have to start clipping it shut again. Can’t have her getting out and messing in the house. We thought she was almost house-broken, but last night, she peed in the living room right in front of us and POOPED ON THE BED!!! :eek: At least she did it on FCD’s side…

We deposit idiot dog at daughter’s place at 9, then grab breakfast and head north. I downloaded a couple of $5 off coupons - 33% savings for the score! 
Anyway, in the interim, we need to pack an overnight bag for us and a crate for the dog. Last night, I refilled the cats’ kibble dispenser, so they’ll be good. And the fishies can survive a night without flakes. And somewhere along the line, we’ll stop for gas and cash. Exciting day ahead, no?
It’s cold, it’s starting to get light, and I’m sitting here in my robe having a diet coke, yelling at the dog while my sweetie grabs a few more winks.

There is a surprisingly well-written to the point of it makes sense even article in today’s Albeeeeeeeny Herald about how a bunch of Lutherans and Episcopalians are gettin’ along. I say surprisingly good because that is not the norm for The Albeeeeeeny Herald. Then I noticed the byline. He’s one of us (Whiskypalians that is) so for once an article was written by someone who actually knows what he’s writin’ about. Anywho it made me go “woah! front page even!” when I opened up the paper. Yes, I do still subscribe. I like to read a mornin’ paper.
Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, who knows what will happen.

Good morning! Up and running this morning. Off to the gym then we are taking the new car out for a trip. Get used to it and play a little.
Tomorrow we will veg. After last weeks de-filthinisation of the house and my shitty week at work I am not doing anything tomorrow.
Woohoo, cleaning day! Now I gotta hurry up & dirty some dishes to leave in the sink.
