I have to brag, I’m sorry. Sah-kid is dyslexic, school has always been a struggle for him, so for him to go from barely passing in elementary school to advanced classes and honor roll in HS is a big achievement.
He’s coming out of his shell and making more friends
and
one of my artist friends is helping us learn how to turn his art work into clip art.
So all the way around he makes a momma proud.

It’s been a long and sad week. One of best friend’s son died on Tuesday. It was not an expected death and he was only 27.
I didn’t do much of anything yesterday; a little tidying and some laundry and that’s about it. Today we’re meeting some friends for lunch. I’ll probably complete a couple of errands after lunch, but that will be the extent of my day.
Congrats to the sah-kid! You have every right to brag!
The Hunks have cleared my driveway, walkway, steps, and stoop. Now, if only the plows would come by…

The visit with my mom was nice - we had a nice dinner and conversations, I crocheted 3 hats while there, so my time was well-spent, and she made us waffles for breakfast! Plus she fixed my hideous haircut, so I look presentable again. I need to thank tugig, BBBobbio, and **Spidey **for not mocking my horrid coif when we lunched together.

I’ve got a load of jeans in the washer and I’m lunching on McKay’s krab spread on crackers. Yum. Daughter is coming over later and bringing Higgs home. We were told said pup peed many places she shouldn’t have in the apartment, so I’m pretty sure she won’t be welcome there any more. Payback for every time Cozmo hiked a leg on my dining room furniture.
The rest of my afternoon will probably mostly be laundry and chilling. Life is good, if cold.

I went out to work on the rental, and…brace yourself, Rosie…I had the A/C on in the car.
It is sunny now, and we may be able to stain the porch (which I never rebuilt for Mrs. Plant v.2.0, nah, nah, nah!) this afternoon.
Getting warm in the house, I should turn the A/C on for Mrs. Plant v.3.0’s return from work.
