If you don’t want to discuss something, the best way to do it is not bring it up in the first place. Saying something stupid and then asking people not to comment on it is less effective.
I’m one of the moderators of Great Debates, and I think I do alright there. This is the Pit and the rules are different. Regardless, my advice would be to read a little about what science is and what the evidence is for inflation and for dark matter and energy. That would make your thread unnecssary, or at least you would learn something and you might not embarrass yourself by comparing those three concepts to the Roman Catholic Trinity. As I said, the comparison indicates that you don’t understand very much about what science is and how it works. That you don’t know much about physics is understandable (I’m hardly an expert on it myself), but if you don’t know much about something, you shouldn’t go around making grand pronouncements about it.
