And I am reminded once again why I read Great Debates, but rarely argue - I am confused, but at a whole entirely completely new level. I am usually capable of discerning some basis for logical thought in any argument, but not in this one. The only thing I really got was that if we move Israel, we can have cheaper gas. Which is a nice idea, but, um, well this is where I get lost. We move Israel? Because there are a lot of Israelite cab drivers in New York City? And the whole Armageddon thing lost me too. It really pisses me off that the batty religious zealots keep saying, “Okay, this date will be Armageddon!” and then when that date passes and it’s not Armageddon, they say, “Oh! Our bad! THIS date will be Armageddon!”
No, uh-uh, that’s not allowed. You can’t un-Armageddon. One shot, if you’re wrong, you get to drink the special punch.

I just wanted to say good morning. Thank you everyone who posted overnight. I actually choked on my coffee at one point from laughing and had to spit it into the trash can to avoid ruining my keyboard. It looks like the other thread might be winding down.
I feel like I am in that WWI story where the British and German soldiers cross over the trenches and have Christmas dinner together. So before we head back to our respective ideologies, I just wanted to rehash my all time favorite line of the thread.
