Just found your site while searching (on Google) for the history of tampons. I found this entry:

Fascinating stuff but it would be good to have some reference to recent environmental arguments against disposable sanitary protection and the re-usable alternatives such as Moon Cup and the like.

Thanks for a great entry though.
