I have been playing Invisible Inc lately and I think it is a lot of fun.
For those that don’t know, it is a turned based, isometric, spy game set in the future. You sneak your agents around high tech corporate security, stealing stuff and trying not to get killed.
The cartoon style of the graphics are really well done. The game-play can be tense and challenging due to the randomness of the levels. Most importantly though, it is just plain fun to play.
I’ve been casually interested in this since I saw it at PAX East last year, but last time I checked it was still in early access, so I skipped it. I see it’s not anymore, but I’m not buying games right now.
I believe it was on sale in the most recent Steam sale, but the discount was paltry (10% maybe?) so I didn’t pick it up. Maybe once I get through my unplayed game backlog a little I’ll add it to the pile.
I did actually buy this in the last Steam sale - looks like it was 33% off in a daily/flash deal - but I haven’t had time to get to it yet. It is literally next on my list, though, so I should be back here pretty soon.
