Invited to Clue party - need help

Hey guys,

I got invited to a ‘clue’ party and I have a hard time coming up with a character and appropriate murder weapon.

Let me hear your suggestions…I don’t mind going in drag and I can’t be one of the official game characters

You could go as The Gimp, and the murder weapon could be the ball gag. :wink:

You could always go as one of the obscure characters from the old VCR board game Clue II: Murder In Disguise:

Sgt. Gray: Split-personality security guard
Weapon: Nightstick

Madam Rose: Fortune teller
Weapon: Crystall ball

Monsieur Brunette: Frenchman
Weapon: Sword

Miss Peach: Southern waitress
Weapon: Pepper mill

You could go as Mr. [Asian Last Name] and your weapon could be your hands (karate!)

Then you not only could wear a spiffy Asian-style suits, but you also don’t have to drag a weapon around all night.

I saw a guy at a wedding this weekend with a suit like that. He looked SHARP. He is a Philippino guy but my date (a tall, blonde white guy) and I decided he’d also look sharp in it.

Outfit- rubber or surgical gloves, safety goggles, labcoat (uniform stores have them for about $20), really old calculator, or better yet a sliderule, really cheezy German accent.

Murder in a color theme? Here’s your look.

And if somebody spoils the punchline and guesses your color is A Clockwork Orange, you can bust their kneecaps and tell them “No, I’m the old ultraviolet.”

Two points:

  1. They were actually in the FIRST Clue VCR game.

  2. They were FIRST introduced in the board game Clue: Master Detective. (In fact, the board game borrows from the VCR game, or vice versa, at least one detail: that Sgt. Gray was colorblind.)

Oh, and to address the OP: why not go as one of the original characters from the movie (i.e. Wadsworth, Mrs. Ho, Yvette, the singing telegram girl, etc.)?

Thanks for all the suggestions…I found a great vinyl ‘evil’ nurse outfit at Hot Topic, all I need now a supersized syringe from a costume store and voila Kitty Kevorkian sees the light of day

Wear a normal suit with a noose tied around your neck, a fake dagger stuck in your back, and a bullet wound on your forehead or chest, and tell everyone you are Mr. Boddy.
