I cannot argue with someone who confuses Cryptotis parva (the American Least Shrew) which has one sub-species with Sorex minutissimus (the Eurasian Least Shrew) which has nine sub-species. If he cannot even name the correct genus of his example, what kind of weight can we give his interpretations?
Do you know that we have almost no fossil record of medusae, siphonophores and ctenophores? And no one has observed a speciation event in the wild, nor even induced a variation in the laboratory. Therefore, I conclude that jellyfish do not evolve.

I also found it interesting that the domain of Cryptotis parva extends from near the panama canel all the way up into Canada. Talk about geographic pressure to evolve!! Whew!!!
An honest note here: Cryptotis parva floridana was thought to evlove into a separate species but I can’t find that part in the monograph right now. I know the work was stopped though before it became proof. I’ll find it later and post it. and Dr. you are referring to the name that was originally given to the Genus by Say in 1823. Its’ proper name now is Cryptotis. It was found approx. 2 mi. E Ft. Calhoun on the West bank of the Missouri River.
David B: There is proof that KGB and I are different people and DrFidelius has it. I sent an e-mail to his/her address which is susyqlight@hotmail.com, but never got a response. My address is different and I don’t want it given out on the board otherwise I would have included it in my profile. DrFidelius knows my e-mail address and has admitted in the flat thread that he received an e-mail from me. Ask him privately what it is and you will know that the e-mails are different. Also, evidently KGB knows how to use the quoting thing so he/she didn’t have to work as hard as I sometimes do. Maybe that’s not hard proof to you but I don’t know how to use the dumb thingy and wish I did! I would LOVE to emphasize some of MY points that way.
Boy I guess I’ll have to wait a long time for that proof I want, huh?

Hardcore: I have seen plenty of them but I’m afraid the fossil record only gives us a postulation that those Eohippus evolved. I am looking for hard proof like Drosophilus, E. coli, Larus agentatus, the Hedylyptra butterfly from Hawaii. I wnat hard proof from living MAMMALS, you know, the kind of proof Darwin had with his finches of great renown.

Uh, that would be ** any ** evolutionist, since all evolutionists are not required for the exercise. Asking for proof is not really conducive to rational argument, if that is what you are seeking. Ask rather for evidence, as David B did in his thread, which sank out of sight without even a mention from you.
The evidence abounds, by the way, and has already begun arriving on the thread. Aurochs evolved into cows, in all likelihood, and the horse has certainly evolved from its ancestor stock, recently found to still exist on the Tibetan plateau. Wolves, and dogs, the coyote, and the dingo are all pretty good examples of the incremental steps which produce evolution.
I would like to mention before hand, Phaedrus, you have exhausted any possible tolerance for avoiding cogent, complete, and reasonable concise replies to any serious responses to your question. If you don’t answer coherently and completely with very unambiguous statements, you reveal that you have no intention of rational discourse, but only a desire to be in the center of an argument. Just thought I should make that clear at the outset.
In the even that you actually desire to have a discussion, you will no doubt have ample evidence shortly. Whether such evidence constitutes proof would require a fairly reasonable level of agreement on what you and the rest of the world mean by evolution, and proof. Somehow I think that is going to be an elusive search.

Yes Gaudere I would swear by all that is HOLY that I am not KGB or any other poster here. Seriously. I have no idea who he was or is and frankly Madam I don’t really give a [Deleted by David B]! If KGB were me he wouldn’t have acted THAT way! I have no other e-mail accounts other than my own. I don’t know what an addy is. Maybe he was klanman or Contestant #3 trying to get in on the act. Other than that I have no idea who he was.

Tris: I will answer as clearly as I know how to all responses. That doesn’t mean they will be as clear as some would like or to the thick headed they would be unclear in any event.
I won’t here any evidence here Tris that isn’t a postulation. Birds and Retiles and many types of animals can speciate. But they only do that ONCE! After that they don’t evolve either.
All the evidence you brought up involves the same postulation as hardcore’s did. It involves the fallacy of composition in logic and proves nothing!
A question, Tris: I know that Canis lupus hasn’t evolved because its gene pool can STILL intermingle with a Chihuahua but what about the coyote and the dingo? Can they interbreed with the Wild Dog (Wolf) and domestic dogs? I haven’t researched it so I don’t know.
