iPhone 2.0

Okay, I just updated my iPhone 1.0 to 2.0.

I have two email accounts set-up on my iPhone:

Home email - POP3 mail from my ISP. Accessed on my home desktop PC via Outlook 2003. I have always sync’d Contacts and Calendar from Outlook 2003 to my iPhone and received email there as well.

Work email - I setup the new Exchange support my work email by providing all the relevant email, username, server, etc., info and I am able to send/receive email. I also selected to get Calendar and Contacts via Exchange. These are my work Calendar and the company directory on Exchange and NOT my personal calendar and contacts as listed above.

Well, unless I’ve done something wrong, it appears Apple didn’t consider that if you want Exchange you may ALSO want to still be able to sync your personal calendar and contacts. When you select Calendar and Contacts as items you also want to sync via Exchange, the iPhone and iTunes makes that you EXCLUSIVE calendar and contacts.

Mother Farker! Someone tell me I’m mistaken here and the stupidity is really between my chair and my iPhone and not located in Cupertino.
