iPhone purchase question

In the past, and when I needed a new phone, I purchased a replacement at a local Verizon store. The store transferred all the data, settings, etc. to the new phone. If I purchased a new phone at Costco, does Costco transfer the data, pics, etc? If not, how is it done?

It’s the same as at the Verizon store. They will get you up with your carrier of choice and do the transfer.

Thx

I bought mine online from Apple. When I received it, I called the help center. They walked me through it. Not a big deal.

Just to echo this, when you are upgrading from one iPhone to another, basically you just turn on the new iPhone, enter a couple simple details (like sign in to your Apple account), and then the new phone will prompt you to put your old phone next to your new one. They wirelessly sync by themselves, and you are done in just a few minutes. It is very easy.

So, if it would be more convenient for the new phone to be delivered by FedEx to your house, rather than you going out to buy it, don’t be intimidated by the setup process. It could not be easier. If you prefer to go to the store, they will do exactly the same steps for you.
